What We Supply

Express Lift is a historic British manufacturer whose installed base passed into the Otis organisation, but tens of thousands of Express units are still running in the UK, Ireland and across former Commonwealth markets. We supply the parts that keep them serviceable: control and drive components, door equipment, fixtures, safety gear and the mechanical wear items that fail with age.

Models We Cover

Legacy Express geared and gearless lifts, hydraulic units, freight and service lifts, and units already partially modernised with Otis or third-party controllers. Because Express machines were produced over several decades with several control generations, we identify by cabinet label, machine plate and door type rather than by model name — and we will ask you for photographs before quoting.

Common Replacement Parts

Controller boards and relays, inverter and drive modules for retrofitted units, door operators with motors, belts, rollers and hangers, hall and car push buttons, indicators and lanterns, level switches and inductors, overspeed governors, safety gear, buffers, guide shoes, rollers, ropes and travel cables. For hydraulic units we also supply valve blocks, seals, hoses and pump-motor components.

Shipping & Warranty

Stock items ship in 2–4 working days; factory and made-to-order items in 7–25 days, since some legacy components have to be manufactured from drawings or samples. Courier express 3–7 days, consolidated sea freight for larger orders. EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP; T/T, L/C at sight, PayPal or card. 12-month warranty on standard parts, 12 months on items produced from your sample or drawing.

Q1. Otis took over Express — should I order Otis parts?

Not automatically. Many Express units kept their original equipment. Send the cabinet and machine photos and we will tell you whether the Otis cross-reference applies or the part must be made to the original specification.

Q2. Can you manufacture obsolete Express components?

Yes, from a sample or a dimensioned drawing. Typical lead time is 15–25 working days including sample approval, and we will quote tooling separately.

Q3. Do you ship to the UK and Ireland frequently?

Yes — UK, Ireland and Commonwealth markets are regular destinations, and we can arrange UK-compatible documentation and packing.
